Sriracha has always been one of my favorite sauces as I am a fan of spicy food. The news reports are everywhere the Sriracha factory shutdown is caused by pollution is causing outrage all over the US as individuals and restaurant owners alike stock up on Sriracha before it runs out (at least temporarily). Reports indicate: “irritated throats and headaches caused by the pungent chili odor emanating from the plant.”
But the thing is, who the hell approved residential zoning next to an industrial sector? Why isn’t the land developer taking any heat from this Sriracha “pollution” problem. Technically is not really pollution since it’s all natural spices, but whatever. I’m sure the douche bags who built the homes next to the factory have never played Sim City before. The first rule in the tutorial states that you should NEVER put residential houses next to industrial zones or the people will not be happy. I guess this is true in real life too. But the idiot who did the zoning procedure is not taking any of the blame and it is causing a world wide Sriracha shortage! As Darth Vader would have responded:
Sriracha will not be available for a while… (play video)
And if this isn’t bad enough, the CEO and founder of Sriracha, David Tran made this statement in an interview: “If the city shuts us down, the price of Sriracha will jump up a lot,” CEO and founder David Tran of Huy Fong Foods told LA Times. He explained that the company is already struggling to meet demand, with about 200,000 bottles of hot sauce packed for daily shipment.
If the Sriracha factory gets shut down, the company will indeed lose revenue. What the government and lawmakers need to understand is that if a company shuts down, it will not be able to pay its employees on time due to the loss in profits. This hike in Sriracha prices will hurt us all, including the consumer.
If Sriracha prices go up, millions upon millions of people will be pissed. All because some douche bag decided it would be a good idea to build residential houses near an industrial sector.
Irwindale California is a bum f*ck place with a bunch of hicks. The population according to Wikipedia is only around 1400 people. So thank the idiots there for the hike in Sriracha prices. L.A. Times reported that the douche bag responsible for pressing the law suit and the shutdown is an Irwindale councilman’s spoiled son (either Gloria Romero’s or Edward Hernandez’s spoiled son – not sure which, because no names was actually mentioned).
As you can clearly see by the map, Irwindale is some bum f*ck location in California. How dare they shut down Sriracha? This is an out rage!
WWIII will start because of the Sriracha plant closing down!
These are the douche bag politicians from Irwindale California who were possibly responsible for the Sriracha plant’s shut down. Please send them hate mail. Especially the spoiled brat who complained about the smell.
Here is the URL that references the politician’s spoiled son who started the Sriracha plant’s shutdown (it would would be awesome if someone could egg and spray Sriracha sauce all over his house!):
NOTE the URL in reference is a legitimate source and the part where it says: “Sriracha smell complaints began with Irwindale Councilman’s son”
So yeah, someone should really f*ck these douche bag politicians up!
