You don’t have to be a comic book geek to know about the Superman vs. Batman debate. Since the late 90’s and early 2000’s people have been debating who would win. Die hard Batman fans will always say Batman, while most casual superhero fans will say Superman. Personally I would like to see Batman win, but realistically, there is no way. I mean, I really hate Superman, he’s all primary colors and doesn’t seem to have much of a personality to him. I’ve always like Batman for the same reasons his fans like him, he is a dark character, not a heroic knight and he’s definitely not a little goody two shoes type of guy, which Superman was originally written out to be. Let’s evaluate how Batman will match up to other no match against other super heroes.
Both of these guys are rich sons of b*tches who use technology to become superheroes. Ironman’s suit has stood up directly against Thor and the Hulk, so unless Batman creates his own version of the Ironman suit, then his utility belt is not going to do much against this guy. Some would argue that Batman is a better fighter, and I won’t disagree, but in the end, Ironman can can really fly, while Batman’s suit can only glide. Sure, he’s got the Batwing, but it still can’t out maneuver the Ironman suit.
Ironman suit is industructable
Both Batman and Wolverine are trained as ninjas, but the main difference is that Wolverine is pretty much indestructible and has claws that could puncture a hole in any type of armor Batman could ever create, he’s also crazy and has a killer blood lust that Batman doesn’t possess. Wolverine is also one of Marvel comic’s best fighters and his trading card stats had his fighting ability at the highest level so there is no way Batman would last very long against a bloodthirsty killer who can regenerate faster than Batman throw a baterang. Hell, even Professor X could beat Batman with his psychic and psionic abilities.
Wolverine is going to rip Batman a new asshole
There’s really nothing Batman can do against Thor, period. Thor has pretty much god-like abilities and no apparent weaknesses. One strike from his hammer would bring down Wayne Manor and kill Batman in his sleep. Even Bane was able to find out Batman was really Bruce Wayne, break into his mansion and break his back, so why wouldn’t Thor be able to? Imagine what Loki would do to him.
This mother f*cker is an Asgardian “God”
The Incredible Hulk
Sure, Batman has fought some pretty big dudes such as Killer Croc, Clayface, Bane and Solomon Grundy, but none of these guys had even a fraction of the Hulk’s strength and intelligence. In some crossover comic book series, Superman actually beat the Hulk, but Batman lost to Bane, who does not even possess a fraction of the Hulk’s strength because he is only human, albeit a really jacked human on some kind of steroids that made him super strong.
Gamma Radiation will smash!
Batman is only human and Spawn is a supernatural creature from hell. I seriously don’t think Batman is really going to be able to do much against Spawn considering the guy really doesn’t have any weaknesses. Hell, Batman probably couldn’t even beat Ghost Rider! Speaking of Ghost Rider, I’m sure someone has suggested Batman go up against him too, but for the sake of this article, I will leave him out. The only thing Batman can do at this point is call the Ghost Busters, but then again, Spawn will probably kill all the Ghost Busters before they are able to contain him because he’s just that badass.
Spawn is a supernatural being that kills demons. Enough said!
Batman Vs. Superman
Sorry Batman, but you lose!
Let’s look at it this way, what type of villain does Batman regularly fight? The Joker, Scarecrow, The Mad Hatter, The Penguin, The Riddler, Catwoman, Two Face, Clayface, The Ventriloquist, Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Ras Al Ghul? All of these villains are more or less human, albeit horribly crazy, they are still “human” or were human at one point. I mean seriously, Batman couldn’t even defeat Bane, so how is he going to beat Superman?
Don’t forget, Bane almost killed Batman… oh wait, he actually did in Christopher Nolon’s movie! But Superman could definitely kill Bane, so this means any further argument that Batman would beat Superman is flawed!
Now let’s look at the type of villains Superman regularly fights: Lobo, Darkseid, Lex Luthor, Bizzarro, Doomsday, Parasite (among others). Looking at the list, the only one who is human is Lex Luthor and the rest are all crazy superhuman freaks with powers comparable to Superman. Lex Luthor being the only human, is an evil genius who is also one of the richest guys in the DC universe (pretty much the opposite of Batman), so if he can’t beat Superman even with the amount of Kryptonite he has in his possession, then how can Batman beat him?
So yeah, there is really no way in hell Batman could beat Superman unless he had Kryptonite armor or something like that, because a small fragment of this rock is probably not enough to stop or contain Superman, because that’s what he’s going to have to do in order to win.
