Okay everyone, here are some very mysterious Ghostly photos that are not photoshopped. Are they ghosts? Are they supernatural entities? Spectral or Phantasmal beings? You decide…
The Ghost of Boothill Cemetery, date unknown – Call me a skeptic, but that looks like a normal looking guy in the shrubbery back there. Not saying it wasn’t a ghost, but this photo is just not convincing to me.
Decebal Hotel Ghost 2008 – The building is 150 years old. While this image certainly is spooky, it is not very clear what that is in the background on top of the stairs. It may be a ghost, but it could be some kind of debris in the camera.
The Electric Chair Ghost, date unknown – This one is very unclear. Supposedly it is a ghostly image of a prisoner who was executed.
Freddy Jackson, 1919 – There is indeed a ghostly image of a man behind another man. Supposedly it is the ghost of Freddy Jackson, but who knows?
The Madonna of Bachelor’s Grove – It looks like a Goth chick before the days of Goth fashion was found sitting on top of a grave stone. I guess the photographer had a thing for women and cemeteries? Unless of course I missed something.
Filipino Ghost, 2000 – This photo was from Manila Philippines and it shows a ghostly image of someone on the right side grabbing the girl. I am not sure, but it looks like a blurred image and maybe there was supposed to be a third person, in spite of what the people in the photo say.
Queensland Cemetery Ghost Baby, 1946 – 1947 – I don’t know about everyone else, but it looks like a normal baby playing in a sand box (even if it is a grave stone).
The Brown Lady, 1936 – This was one of the first images of a ghost that I actually saw as a kid in elementary school. I remember picking up a book about ghosts by author Daniel Cohen and this photo was on the cover. Back then I was more of a believer, but now, I have no idea.
The Pink Lady of Green Castle, date unknown – This image does look spooky but is it really a ghost?
The Ghost on the Rail Road Tracks, date unknown – This photo may be pretty convincing, but I really don’t know. Apparently ghosts can wander around almost anywhere then?
The Specter of Newby Church 1963 – This thing looks creepy; like one of those guys from Scream or something. It makes me wonder if the director got the idea of the Scream killers from this photo?
The Ghosts of the SS Watertown, 1924 – What appears to be two faces are in the background of this photo. As creepy as it looks, I am not sure whether or not they are ghosts, rather than shapes that resemble faces.
Tulip Staircase Ghost, 1963 – This is a dramatically creepy photo of what appears to be an apparition behind the staircase. It looks more like a special effect for a movie back then, but how am I to know?
White Lady of Worstead Church, 1974 – So a man took a picture of his wife praying on one of the church benches and the photo reveals a spectral presence behind her. I am not sure what that is, but it looks a lot like Caspar the friendly ghost!
